Welcome to the Community Toolkit! Whether you're a Neighborhood Ambassador or Sustainability Steward, you'll find resources, updates, and tools to help you connect and make a positive impact in Cuyahoga Falls.
What is a Sustainability Steward? A Sustainability Steward is someone who cares about protecting the environment and helping keep our community clean, healthy, and beautiful. Whether it's recycling, caring for green spaces, reducing waste, or volunteering, Stewards lead by example through everyday sustainable actions.

What is a Neighborhood Ambassador? A Neighborhood Ambassador is someone who enjoys connecting with neighbors and making their community a more welcoming, informed, and engaged place. They help build relationships, share local resources, and encourage others to get involved.

Volunteer Expectations and Involvement
Volunteer in a way that fits your schedule, interests, and availability. Whether you have a few hours a year or can participate more regularly, every contribution helps strengthen our neighborhoods and create a more sustainable community.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Are there meetings? Yes. We hold two meetings each year, in the spring and fall, to provide program updates, share upcoming opportunities, and bring volunteers together.
- What department are these programs a part of? Both programs are coordinated by the City's Neighborhood Excellence, Communications and Community Outreach (NECCO) Department.
- Is there a cost to join? No. Membership is free, and many of the supplies and materials needed for volunteer activities are provided by the City.
