Planning
The planning division works in conjunction with the board of zoning appeals, the planning commission, city council, and administration to formulate, establish, and administer land use policy and zoning and subdivision regulations.
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
The Community Development Block Grant Program is a federally funded initiative by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. It provides local governments with flexible funding to improve neighborhoods, enhance housing options, and expand economic opportunities, particularly for low- and moderate-income residents. These grants help communities address essential needs and support long-term development.

The housing division administers the city’s housing and property maintenance codes in order to ensure that properties are properly maintained.
