In 2024, Mayor Don Walters joined with Fire Chief Chris Martin and Police Chief Chris Norfolk to promote the Summer of Safety to promote Bike Safety in the community.


The 2025 Bicycle Fun Day will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at City Hall, 2310 Second St. Open to all ages, the event includes helmetbike event decorating, safety checks, inflatables, and more.

Mayor Walters launched the Cuyahoga Falls Safe Driving Initiative in 2024 to enhance the safety of motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians.

Free bicycle licensing is available at the police department 24 hours a day. Bicycle licensing helps officers locate stolen bicycles by providing more information about your bicycle, such as color, serial number, and model number.
