Free to homeowners in the City of Cuyahoga Falls, residents may receive free smoke detectors for their home. A professional fire safety official will come to your residence at a mutually agreed upon time to install the devices, also free of charge.
Please note that landlords and renters are not eligible for this program. Smoke detectors are free upon first request. Once those detectors need replacing, the homeowner is responsible for procuring new devices, but installation services remain free of charge.
