Summit DD and the City of Cuyahoga Falls announce that they will break ground on the renovation and expansion of Summit DD’s Cuyahoga Falls location, 2355 Second Street, on Monday, May 3, 2021, at noon. The renovation and expansion project will transform the Cuyahoga Falls location from a workshop to office space and relocate 130 jobs.

“The groundbreaking at Cuyahoga Falls represents several years of planning and collaboration with the County Executive and the Cities of Barberton, Cuyahoga Falls, and Tallmadge,” stated John Trunk, Summit DD Superintendent. “Our new offices, in the heart of Cuyahoga Falls and Barberton, will keep us connected to the people and the communities we serve and will present even more opportunities for people with disabilities to be fully included within the community.”

“We are proud to welcome the Summit DD offices to Cuyahoga Falls,” said Mayor Don Walters. “The work that they do is vitally important to our community, and this investment will allow Summit DD to continue to provide topnotch services to the people of Summit County for years to come.”
