Due to the forecasted winter storm, a citywide parking ban is in effect in Cuyahoga Falls beginning SATURDAY, January 24, at 10 p.m. through WEDNESDAY, January 28, at 9 a.m. The ban allows emergency services access and helps crews safely clear roadways. Vehicles parked on city streets during the ban may be ticketed and towed.
Crews will operate in three shifts throughout the storm, using 13 large plow/salt trucks, supplemented by additional plow vehicles. Crews will prioritize the most hazardous and heavily traveled roads and will continue plowing and salting those routes for the duration of the weather event. This is a matter of public safety. Once primary roads are addressed, crews will move to secondary roads and then residential streets. Thank you for your patience as crews work in challenging conditions to keep our community safe.
