Mayor Don Walters is excited to announce the return of summer events to Downtown Cuyahoga Falls for 2026. The season features a full lineup of free family-friendly events, including concerts, movies, festivals, fireworks, and community celebrations throughout the summer.
Falls Downtown Friday
Falls Downtown Friday returns to the Downtown Plaza on Friday, June 5, July 3, and August 7, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The events will feature live music, food trucks, local craft beer, and family-friendly activities in the heart of downtown.
America 250 Celebration & Fireworks
Celebrate America 250 on Friday, July 3, during Falls Downtown Friday at the Downtown Plaza from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The evening will feature local craft beer, food trucks, and live music from the Buck Naked Band beginning at 7 p.m., followed by a fireworks finale at 10 p.m.
Flix on the Falls
Flix on the Falls returns with free outdoor movies and entertainment for the whole family. Activities begin at 6:30 p.m., with movies starting at dusk.

Front Street Live
Front Street Live returns on select Friday nights from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Performances will take place on both the Paddle Park Stage and North Fountain Stage and will feature a variety of musical genres throughout the summer. Scheduled dates include June 5 and 26; July 10, 24, and 31; and August 7 and 14.
National Night Out
National Night Out is an annual community event that brings residents and local law enforcement together for an evening of family-friendly activities, safety demonstrations, and neighborhood engagement. The event will take place on Tuesday, August 4, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the City Hall Parking Lot at 2310 Second Street. Attendees can enjoy food, music, games, and opportunities to explore police and emergency response equipment from local law enforcement agencies.
Heritage Festivals
Downtown Cuyahoga Falls will once again host several beloved heritage festivals throughout the summer.

Riverfront Cruise In Car Show
The Riverfront Cruise In Car Show will take place every Monday from June 1 through August 31 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 2310 Second Street. During the event, Second Street will be closed between Oakwood Drive and Portage Trail. For more information, visit riverfrontcruisein.com.
