Mayor Don Walters is pleased to invite the Cuyahoga Falls community to celebrate Public Power Week at the 2026 Cuyahoga Falls Electric System Energy Expo on Thursday, October 8, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium, 2345 4th Street.
The Energy Expo is an opportunity for residents to learn about cost-saving programs, the benefits of public power, electric vehicles, how to be a more energy-efficient household, and more. Free Home Energy Efficiency Kits will be available for residential customers of the Cuyahoga Falls Electric System, one kit per household, while supplies last.
Other highlights of the Energy Expo will include:
  • “Ask a Line Worker” table with City of Cuyahoga Falls Electric System employees to answer questions, show off gear, and share employment opportunities
  • NOPEC to give information and answer questions regarding natural gas aggregation & other cost-saving opportunities
  • Representatives from Drive Electric Northeast Ohio to share information about Electric Vehicles
“Cuyahoga Falls is proud to be a public power community,” stated Mayor Don Walters. “Through the Cuyahoga Falls Electric System and our membership in American Municipal Power, we are able to offer top-notch service and some of the lowest electric rates in our area.”
