Mayor Don Walters and the City of Cuyahoga Falls Department of Community Development announced today that the draft Fiscal Year 2025 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) will be available for public review beginning March 13, 2026. The report details the City’s accomplishments and use of federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025.
The CAPER is a mandatory year-end report required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). It serves as a tool for the community, illustrating how federal funds were used to support local infrastructure, improve neighborhood accessibility, and provide essential services to low- to moderate-income residents.
Public Review and Comment Period
The mandatory 15-day public comment period will begin on Friday, March 13, 2026, and conclude on Friday, March 27, 2026. Residents and stakeholders are invited to examine the draft and submit their input before the final report is submitted to HUD on March 30.
How to Access the Report
Beginning Friday, March 13, 2026, the draft CAPER can be viewed on the website at www.cityofcf.com/departments/community-development/block-grant-program. To ensure broad accessibility, the website features a translation tool that allows users to view information in multiple languages.
