City of Cuyahoga Falls Service Director Anthony L. Zumbo, P.E., P.S., has announced that work on the Bailey Road Waterline Replacement Project is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 1, 2026, and will continue through late November, with final roadway resurfacing planned for 2027.

The project will replace the aging infrastructure to improve long-term water system reliability and reduce the likelihood of future service interruptions.

Construction will require temporary lane closures on Bailey Road between Myrtle Avenue and McShane Drive. The contractor will maintain traffic in one direction at a time with flaggers assisting motorists through the work zone.

Motorists should use caution and expect potential delays while traveling through the impacted area.
