Mayor Don Walters is proud to announce new student artwork on display at City Hall in partnership with Western Reserve Hospital and Collide: Cuyahoga Falls. The “Friendship Community Quilt” is a 3-panel mural created by students at Roberts Middle School.

In the collaborative project, 103 art students of all abilities, interests and talents came together to contribute to the mural which highlights the importance of friendship, cooperation and community. The panels depict different variations of the friendship star quilt pattern and incorporate every color of the rainbow.

“It is an honor to be able to partner with Western Reserve Hospital, Collide: Cuyahoga Falls and Cuyahoga Falls City Schools to showcase the talent of our youngest residents,” stated Mayor Walters. “We are proud to continue our support of the arts in our community by hosting the display at City Hall.”
