Mayor Don Walters is proud to announce the first event of the 2021 Falls Downtown Fridays summer entertainment series held in Downtown Cuyahoga Falls, featuring Crafty Mart. The event is scheduled for Friday, August 6, from 5 to 10 p.m. Local artisans will activate and transform Downtown Cuyahoga Falls into a marketplace that will showcase creative entrepreneurs and their high-end, handmade goods. This event will feature local music, retail, craft beer, food, and family-friendly activities.
One T Entertainment and radio partner 91.3 The Summit will kick off the event from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by local musicians Summit Sky at 6 p.m., and headliner The Theron Brown Trio at 8 p.m. Falls Downtown Fridays is sponsored by the City of Cuyahoga Falls, Western Reserve Hospital, and Clear Gold Audio. Beer will be provided by HiHO Brewing Company and Missing Mountain Brewing Company. The Downtown Cuyahoga Falls Partnership will be the non-profit beneficiary of beer sales.
“After a brief hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are thrilled to welcome our residents and visitors back to Downtown Cuyahoga Falls to kick-off our 2021 Falls Downtown Fridays season with Crafty Mart,” stated Mayor Walters. “We look forward to another wonderful night of entertainment while highlighting the talent of local artists and makers in our area.”
Throughout the event, 30 local vendors will feature goods ranging from candles to handbags and pet treats to art pieces.

Bike-N-Brainstorm
Downtown Cuyahoga Falls will host a Bike-N-Brainstorm event with Akron Metropolitan Area Transportation Study (AMATS) on Friday, August 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Riders should meet at the bicycle repair station adjacent to 2085 Front Street. Bike-N-Brainstorm will feature a 7.2 miles ride followed by a brainstorming session to improve cycling in Cuyahoga Falls. Farmer’s Market in the Falls Returns to High Bridge Glens
