Mayor Don Walters is pleased to announce that the City of Cuyahoga Falls, in partnership with Rubber City Reuse, will host a pumpkin and gourd collection October 30 - December 30, at the Cuyahoga Falls Service Complex, 2560 Bailey Road, Gaylord Grove Road entrance. Organic waste collection bins will be located adjacent to the cardboard collection bin.
Accepted items include:
- Pumpkins
- Gourds
- Mums
- Straw
- Hay
- Corn Stalks
This collection drive aims to divert organic material from landfills and utilize it in an environmentally-friendly way. Rubber City Reuse will compost all usable materials. Please note that this collection drive is only for holiday organic items, not food scraps.
