Anthony Zumbo, PE, PS, Service Director of the City of Cuyahoga Falls, would like to alert residents and motorists to the closure of a roughly 500-foot section of the eastbound lane of Steels Corners Road effective immediately on Thursday, April 15, 2021. Crews will be completing emergency road repairs. Steels Corners will be reduced to one lane only with traffic maintained through the construction zone beginning roughly ½ mile east of Akron-Peninsula Road. Temporary traffic signals will be used to maintain two-way traffic in the westbound lane. It is anticipated that the road project will be complete in roughly two weeks.
