The Cuyahoga Falls Planning Commission will discuss and consider for adoption the Merriman Valley Schumacher Form-Based Code at its meeting scheduled for April 2 at 6 p.m. at the Natatorium, 2345 4th Street. Residents will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback at the meeting.
The draft code is available at https://www.cityofcf.com/merriman-valley-schumacher-area-master-plan. The cities of Cuyahoga Falls and Akron began the master plan process in 2021 with a draft developed by Farr Associates that was designed to build upon the 2005 Northampton Area planning framework to create a more cohesive land use policy and regulations that will guide future development for both Cuyahoga Falls and Akron in the Merriman Valley-Schumacher Area.
