The City of Cuyahoga Falls will host a Drug Take Back event on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the entrance of Giant Eagle Market District, 2687 State Road.

The goal of the event, held on National Drug Take Back Day, is to collect expired, unwanted, or unused medication from residents to help make the community safer and healthier. Needles and liquids will not be accepted.

“Unused and expired medications in the home are a public safety issue,” said Mayor Don Walters. “Help keep Cuyahoga Falls safe by properly disposing of medication that you no longer need at our Drug Take Back Day event.”

In addition to Drug Take Back Day, residents may drop off unused and expired medication 24/7 at the drug disposal drop box located in the lobby of the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department, 2310 Second Street.
