A free multi-agency Citizen’s Police Academy will once again be offered this fall under the sponsorship of Western Reserve Hospital. The police departments of Cuyahoga Falls, Hudson, Munroe Falls, Silver Lake, Stow, and Tallmadge. will be joining together to give local residents an opportunity to see and experience how their local departments operate. The course will include such topics as canine, DUI enforcement, use of force, narcotics trends, and other police-related issues. The classes are slated to start September 20, 2023, and will be held on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. through November 8, 2023. Class size is limited.
