Beginning the evening of Thursday, September 21, 2023, traffic pattern changes will go into effect on West Portage Trail. The new traffic pattern will be in place for several months as part of the ongoing improvements to the corridor.
Traffic pattern changes include:
- Traffic on West Portage Trail will shift to the south,
- Eastbound traffic will use the newly constructed temporary lane,
- Left turns onto Valley Road from West Portage Trail will be restricted and detoured, and
- The right-turn-only lane heading south on State Road to West Portage Trail will be closed. Traffic will shift to the center lanes. Right turns from State Road to West Portage Trail will be permitted.
