Mayor Don Walters is pleased to announce the return of the Spring Sustainability Expo on Saturday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium. The Spring Sustainability Expo will showcase local businesses and organizations that are leading the way in sustainable practices, conservation, and environmental education.
The Cuyahoga Falls High School-based Community Agriculture for Local Impact students from the Six-District Compact’s Career-Technical Education program will be on hand with free home garden starter sets while supplies last. The event will feature student art and displays from Woodridge, Cuyahoga Falls, Walsh Jesuit, and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy high schools. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite projects.
Vendors and presenters will provide information on the following topics:

- Recycling

- Native plants
- Plant care
- Rain gardens
- Pollinator-friendly yards
- Organic lawn care
- Household stormwater management
- Energy efficiency
