Mayor Don Walters is pleased to invite the Cuyahoga Falls community to celebrate Public Power Week at the 2022 Cuyahoga Falls Electric System Energy Expo on Thursday, October 6, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium, 2345 4th Street.

The expo is an opportunity for residents to learn more about energy efficiency and conservation at home, as well as to recognize some of the outstanding educational achievements of local students. Refreshments will be offered throughout the day. Free Home Energy Efficiency Kits will be available for residential customers of the Cuyahoga Falls Electric System, one kit per household while supplies last.

“Cuyahoga Falls is proud to be a public power community,” stated Mayor Don Walters. “Through the Cuyahoga Falls Electric System and our membership in American Municipal Power we are able to offer top-notch service and some of the lowest electric rates in our area.”

Public Power Week is celebrated by 2,000 community-owned, not-for-profit electric utilities that collectively provide electricity to 49 million Americans. For more information, contact the Cuyahoga Falls Electric Department at 330-971-8060.
