The City of Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Offices will be closed on Wednesday, December 24, and Thursday, December 25, in observance of the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day holidays. Offices will also be closed on Thursday, January 1, in observance of New Year's Day.
2025/2026 Holiday Sanitation Schedule
There will be no sanitation pickup on Thursday, December 25, and Thursday, January 1, with a one-day delay for the remainder of each week. Refuse and recycling crews will work through Saturday.
The 2025 Holiday Clean-up Program is scheduled for all sanitation customers from Friday, December 26, through Wednesday, December 31. Extra bags of trash and bulk items will be picked up curbside free of charge on your scheduled pickup day. Please place all items curbside by 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled collection day. Sanitation customers do not need to schedule pickups for extra items that do not fit in sanitation carts during the Holiday Clean-up Program.
Live Christmas tree pickup will run from Friday, December 26, through Friday, January 9. Residents are reminded to place trees at the curbside on their regularly scheduled trash collection day. Please remove all ornaments, tinsel, lights, tree stands, and plastic tree bags.
