The City of Cuyahoga Falls is proud to be a location to host Pack the MAC, a community-wide collection event supporting the Humane Society of Summit County (HSSC) and its vital Pet Food Pantry. On Tuesday, November 25, from 2:00–5:00 pm, residents are invited to stop by the Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Building (2310 Second Street) in the parking lot off Stow Avenue to help fill HSSC’s Mobile Adoption Center (MAC) with essential pet food and supplies.

The goal of Pack the MAC is to stock the HSSC Pet Food Pantry, which distributes thousands of pounds of dog and cat food every year to local families facing financial hardship. By lending a hand, community members can ensure pets remain in loving homes and out of shelters during a season when the need for assistance is especially great.

“We are incredibly fortunate to live in a community that continually shows up for one another—including our four-legged friends,” said Mayor Don Walters. “Pack the MAC is a great opportunity for residents to make a meaningful difference for families and animals in need right here in Summit County.”

Requested items include:

  • Dry and canned dog food

  • Dry and canned cat food

  • Cat litter

  • Treats, toys, and enrichment items

  • New or gently used pet supplies (beds, leashes, bowls, etc.)

All donated items will directly benefit the Humane Society of Summit County’s Pet Food Pantry and the animals and families it serves.
