Mayor Don Walters is pleased to announce the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department’s 2023 Toys for Tickets Program. For the fourteenth year, the program will allow motorists stopped for minor traffic offenses to trade a traffic warning for a toy donation to a local charity.

“I am proud of Chief Davis and the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department for their continued commitment to our residents during the holiday season and throughout the year,” stated Mayor Don Walters. “The Toys for Tickets program is an opportunity to remind motorists in our city to drive with added caution during the holiday season while bringing joy to some of our youngest residents.”

From November 24 through December 8, 2023, Cuyahoga Falls Police Officers will issue toy waivers to replace verbal warnings received for minor traffic cases. The toy waiver encourages the minor traffic violator to donate a new, unwrapped toy to a local charity. Drivers may drop off the toy at the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department, 2310 Second Street, on or before December 8, 2023.
