Mayor Don Walters is pleased to announce the return of the Spring Sustainability Expo on Saturday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium. The Spring Sustainability Expo will showcase local businesses and organizations on the cutting edge of sustainable practices, conservation, and environmental education.

Cuyahoga Falls High School Urban Agriculture students will be on hand with free home garden starter sets while supplies last. Attendees will be able to vote on these displays, with the winning students receiving awards.

Vendors and presenters will provide information on the following topics:

  • Composting
  • Gardening
  • Recycling
  • Cuyahoga River health
  • Native plants
  • Plant care
  • Rain gardens
  • Pollinator-friendly yards
  • Organic lawn care
  • Household stormwater management
  • Energy efficiency
  • Zero-waste lifestyle
  • Local conservation efforts
  • Volunteer opportunities
