Mayor Don Walters is pleased to announce the City of Cuyahoga Falls’ River-City Cleanup Series will continue this fall. Cleanups will be hosted by the city and a local business or organization and will feature environmental educational displays from the City of Cuyahoga Falls and Summit Soil and Water Conservation District. Each cleanup in the event series will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

September 10 - Kennedy Park – 2100 Issaquah Street

  • Environmental education provided by Biohabitats
  • Cleanup hosted by the City of Cuyahoga Falls, Float the River, and Biohabitats

October 1 - Water Works Park – 2025 Munroe Falls Avenue

  • Environmental education provided by Conservation on the Cuyahoga
  • Cleanup hosted by the City of Cuyahoga Falls, Burning River Adventures, and the Village of Silver Lake

November 5 - Valley Vista Park – 2790 Valley Road

  • Environmental education provided by Tansy Recycling
  • Cleanup hosted by the City of Cuyahoga Falls and Lele’s Leaf and Vine

Attendees will be eligible to win prizes from the hosts on the day of the cleanup and, if they attend two or more cleanups in the series, will be entered into a drawing to win grand prizes donated by all three hosts at the conclusion of the series.

Bags, grabbers, and gloves will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own water.
