Mayor Don Walters is pleased to announce the 2023 Halloween schedule of events featuring family-friendly fun throughout the spooky season.

Family Movie Night: The Nightmare Before Christmas

The Nightmare Before Christmas will be shown at the Downtown Amphitheater on Friday, October 20, at 7 p.m. There will be free cookies and hot chocolate for those in attendance.


Halloween Extravaganza

The Downtown Halloween Extravaganza is scheduled for Friday, October 13, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. All activities are free. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Schedule of Events

  • 5-6:30 p.m. - Front Street Trick-or-Treat (Hosted by the Downtown Cuyahoga Falls Partnership)
  • 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. - Halloween fun for the whole family - inflatables, yard games, crafts, concessions, and more. There will also be a costume contest. Those wishing to participate in the costume contest will take their photo at the photo booth stationed on the amphitheater stage and submit it for a chance to win a prize.

City Hall Trick-or-Treat

Cuyahoga Falls City Hall Trick-or-Treat is scheduled for Friday, October 27, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Building, 2310 Second Street. Visitors will have the opportunity to trick-or-treat with various departments throughout City Hall.


Citywide Trick-or-Treat

The annual citywide trick-or-treat is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, from 6 to 8 p.m.


Spooktacular Halloween Display Tour

The City of Cuyahoga Falls Neighborhood Excellence, Communications, and Community Outreach Department is partnering with Neighborhood Ambassadors to sponsor the Third Annual Spooktacular Halloween Display Tour.
