On Saturday, October 16, 2021, the City of Cuyahoga Falls will host the first annual Downtown Cuyahoga Falls Fire Truck Pull to benefit local food pantry Pantry on the Corner. The event begins at 11 a.m. on Front Street in front of the Downtown Plaza, 2085 Front Street. Twenty-four teams are currently signed up to see who can pull a Cuyahoga Falls firetruck 40 feet in the fastest time. Competition is already heating up with the Cuyahoga Falls Fire Department taking on the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department and the Cuyahoga Falls High School football team taking on the players from Woodridge High School. The community is invited to attend. The event is free to the public, and the donation of non-perishable food items is encouraged. There will be food trucks, entertainment provided by 91.3 The Summit, and activities for kids. The event will be held rain or shine.
