The City of Cuyahoga Falls Suspends In-Person Assistance at City Hall Amid COVID-19 Concerns

Amid concerns regarding COVID-19, the City of Cuyahoga Falls is suspending all in-person assistance effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at 5:00 p.m., and until further notice. The Police Department will remain open for citizen access.
The Cuyahoga Falls Mayor’s Court has rescheduled all cases having an appearance date scheduled March 19 through April 16, 2020. Most citations can be paid by waiver, meaning no appearance is required. Payments can be made online, by mail, or by hand-delivering the payment to the drop box that is located in the Police Department lobby. The Utility Billing Department will collect payments through locked drop boxes located outside of City Hall at the Utility Billing entrance, in the parking lot of the Natatorium, and in the lobby of the Police Department. Account numbers or service addresses must be noted on the payments so that they may be accurately applied to the respective accounts. Bills may also be paid online or through mail. The $2.90 processing fee for online payments is being waived for those who choose to pay online during the suspension of in-person payments.
Those who are looking to sign up for service through Utility Billing will need to complete the online Utilities Contract at https://www.cityofcf.com/departments/utility-billing. The contract and all required documents can be emailed and processed through UBDept@cityofcf.com.
For tax assistance, the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) call center will remain open and available for taxpayer calls at 800.860.7482. RITA also offers convenient online services at ritaohio.com.
