The City of Cuyahoga Falls Continues to Provide Services through Closures

While Cuyahoga Falls municipal offices are closed to the public, city employees continue to provide services to residents and businesses both online and by phone.

The Cuyahoga Falls Police and Fire Departments are fully staffed and prepared to respond to emergency calls as needed. For non-emergency situations, please call dispatch at 330-928-2181.

Service Departments continue to provide all services utilizing staggered shifts to ensure social distancing. Residents may contact departments as listed below during regular business hours:

After hours calls regarding electric outages and water main breaks should be directed to non-emergency dispatch at 330-928-2181.

Utility Payments: Utility bills may be paid online, by mail, or dropped at locked drop boxes located outside of City Hall at the Utility Billing entrance, in the parking lot of the Natatorium, and in the lobby of the Police Department.  Account numbers or service addresses must be noted on the payments so that they may be accurately applied to the respective accounts.  Online payment is available at https://www.cityofcf.com/departments/utility-billing/pay-bill. The $2.90 processing fee for online payments is being waived for those who choose to pay online during the suspension of in-person payments.

Those who are looking to sign up for service through Utility Billing will need to complete the online Utilities Contract at https://www.cityofcf.com/departments/utility-billing. The contract and all required documents can be emailed and processed through UBDept@cityofcf.com. Residents may contact Utility Billing by calling 330-971-8250.

Income Tax: The Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) call center is available for taxpayer calls at 800.860.7482. RITA also offers convenient online services at www.ritaohio.com.

Mayor’s Court: The Cuyahoga Falls Mayor’s Court has rescheduled all cases having an appearance date scheduled through April 16, 2020. Most citations can be paid by waiver, meaning no appearance is required. Payments can be made online, by mail, or by hand-delivering the payment to the drop box that is located in the Police Department lobby. Engineering Permits: Residents may obtain right-of-way permits and contact the Engineering Department by calling 330-971-8180 or emailing engineering@cityofcf.com.

Community Development Department: Residents may contact the Community Development Department at 330-971-8135 or development@cityofcf.com for assistance related to zoning permits, CDBG, and housing and code enforcement. Permits and applications are available online at https://www.cityofcf.com/permits-applications-forms.

Economic Development: Businesses may contact the Community Development Department by calling 330-971-8135 or emailing development@cityofcf.com.

Neighborhood Excellence, Communications, and Community Outreach Department: Residents may call 330-971-8208 or email necco@cityofcf.com for inquiries related to the Cuyahoga Falls Cares Initiative, the Neighborhood Excellence Initiative, and city communications.

Law Department: Residents may contact the Law Department by calling 330-971-8190 or emailing lawdepartment@cityofcf.com.

Parks and Recreation: Parks and Recreation facilities are closed. Residents may contact the department by calling 330-971-8225 or emailing parks@cityofcf.com.
