City of Cuyahoga Falls Announces Parks and Recreation Improvement Plan Survey and Community Input Meetings

Mayor Don Walters and the City of Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Department has announced they are producing a continuous improvement plan that includes a comprehensive study of city parks, recreational facilities, and programs. The purpose of the plan is to inventory current facilities and programs, provide guidance to the city administration, and generate a sustainable and implementable action plan to serve the recreational needs of residents and visitors better.
Residents are invited to participate in an online survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/CFParks. Additionally, residents are encouraged to participate in public engagement opportunities that will be held throughout the year. The Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a series of open houses to gather input from the community. Families will have the opportunity to provide feedback through fun, interactive activities while sharing their opinions on the future of Cuyahoga Falls parks and facilities.
Community meetings will be held on the following dates:
February 27, 2020, at 6:30 p.m.: Lions Lodge, 641 Silver Lake Avenue
March 10, 2020, at 6:30 p.m.: Woodridge Elementary School, 4351 Quick Road
March 19, 2020, at 6:30 p.m.: Downtown Pavilion, 2085 Front Street.
