Cuyahoga Falls Cares
The “Cuyahoga Falls Cares” Initiative was created to help residents who are willing to give or need assistance during this time of social isolation and physical distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Whether someone needs help running errands, having their trash can taken to and from the curb, or a trip to the pharmacy, there are volunteers available to assist. Additionally, Mayor Walters is urging residents to take part in a Post-It Note campaign by posting their name, phone number, and address on the doors of their neighbors in an effort to offer assistance to those who may not have family nearby who can help. Residents may contact the Neighborhood Excellence, Communication, and Community Outreach Department at 330.971.8208 or firstname.lastname@example.org if they need assistance or would like to sign up as volunteers.

Ohio Responds Volunteer Registry
The Ohio Responds Volunteer Registry is a volunteer opportunity site shared by the Ohio Emergency Management Agency (Ohio EMA) and the Ohio Department of Health (ODH). If you choose to register, you can specify that you would like to assist locally by selecting Summit County and "Summit County MRC" for the organization. Per Summit County Public Health, there is not a requirement that volunteers have previous training or a medical background at this time. Volunteers must be over the age of 18.
