Lodges

Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Department offers three indoor meeting locations throughout the city which may accommodate 50 to 150 people for your gathering.  Reservations times may be made between 10am - 10pm; early entry or late closing times may be requested for a fee.  A $25 fee applies to any reservation changes made within two weeks of the rental date.  All fees are due at time of reservation.  Security deposit will be refunded after the reservation date unless orginially scheduled times are not adhered to and/or the condition in which the lodge is left in deems otherwise.

Galt Park Lodge

Located at 2000 Oneida Avenue, Galt Park Lodge will accommodate up to 50 people seated. The lodge is heated but not air conditioned. There is a wood burning fireplace available upon request. A full kitchen and bathrooms are located downstairs.

Rental Fees

Monday – Thursday

  • Resident Rate: $125 due at reservation*
  • Non-resident Rate: $140 due at time of reservation*
  • Early Entry/Late Closing: $25/hr

Friday – Sunday & Holidays

  • Resident Rate: $150 due at time of reservation*
  • Non-resident Rate: $175 due at time of reservation*
  • Early Entry/Late Closing: $25/hr

*$50 of that fee is a security deposit which will be refunded after reservation date.

Lions Park Lodge

Central to the city at 641 Silver Lake Avenue, Lions Park Lodge will accommodate up to 150 people seated. The lodge is air conditioned and heated and has a gas fireplace available upon request. A full kitchen and bathrooms are located on the main floor.

  • Resident Rate: $150 due at time of reservation*
  • Non-resident Rate: $175 due at time of reservation*
  • Early Entry/Late Closing: $25/hr

Friday – Sunday & Holidays

  • Resident Rate: $225 due at time of reservation*
  • Non-resident Rate: $250 due at time of reservation*
  • Early Entry/Late Closing: $25/hr

Northampton Town Hall

The town hall is located at 851 West Bath Road and sits on the corner of West Bath and Northampton Roads adjacent to Keyser Park. It will accommodate up to 60 people seated downstairs and 50 people upstairs. The lodge is air conditioned and heated. A full kitchen and bathrooms are located downstairs and a small stage is located upstairs.

  • Non-resident Rate: $140 due at time of reservation*
  • Early Entry/Late Closing: $25/hr

Friday – Sunday & Holidays

Shelters

Seven shelters across three parks provide coverage from the elements and plenty of seating for your guests.

Keyser

Located at 851 West Bath Road, on the top of the hill off of Northampton Road, the Keyser Park Shelter includes playground equipment, a walking trail, and lighted tennis & basketball courts. No electricity or water is available. Seats 32 persons at picnic tables.


Oak

Situated at 2250 Twelfth Street, Oak Park Shelter includes restrooms, playground equipment, a basketball court, outdoor cornhole game (bring your own bags), wading pool, and a small ball field. There is a large grill, but no access to electricity and water is located nearby at the restroom.  Seats 48 persons at picnic tables.


Water Works Park

Five (5) shelters are nestled in the rear of Water Works Park located at 2025 Munroe Falls Avenue. All shelters have electrical outlets and a charcoal grill with access to a central restroom with running water. Horseshoe pits are nearest Little Stone & Kelsey Creek Shelters.

Big Cuyahoga: Seats 70 persons at picnic tables.

Kelsey Creek: Seats 80 persons at picnic tables.

Little Stone: Seats 60 - 70 persons at picnic tables.

Peninsula: Seats 120 persons at picnic tables.

Shady Bend: Seats 90 persons at picnic tables.

Rental Fees

The rental fees is the same rate for all shelters, any day of the week. All reservations are from sunrise to sunset.

  • Resident Rate: $45
  • Non-resident Rate: $55

Lodge and Shelter Availability

To check the availability of a shelter or lodge, please call the Parks and Recreation office at (330) 971-8225, Quirk Cultural Center at (330) 971-8425, or go online to check the facility schedule. Currently only shelters can be booked online; lodge bookings are over the phone or in person only.

Check Availability

Payment is due at time of reservation by cash, check, or credit.  Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards are accepted. To use your RecPerks! card, the reservation must be made in person at the Quirk Cultural Center or parks and recreation main office, otherwise full price will be charged.

Reservations

Cuyahoga Falls residents may make reservations one year to the date in advance online, in person, or over the phone. Non-residents may make reservations six months to the date in advance in person or over the phone only. No more than two reservations may be on the calendar for each household or organization.

Refunds

Reservations canceled six months or more prior to the reservation date receive a 90% refund; less than six months notice receives a 50% refund.

Alcoholic Beverages

No person will bring into, keep, carry, serve, or drink any beverage containing alcohol inside or outside the premises.
