Mayor Don Walters has announced a change in sanitation service due to the Labor Day Holiday. All customers’ collections will be delayed one day beginning Monday, September 6, 2021.  Refuse and recycle crews will work Tuesday through Saturday.

Additionally, the City of Cuyahoga Falls Municipal Offices will be closed on Monday, September 6, 2021, in observance of the holiday.

Sanitation customers are also reminded that Fall Cleanup for all Cuyahoga Falls Sanitation customers will run from Tuesday, September 7 through Saturday, September 11, and Monday, September 13 through Friday, September 17.  Please place all Fall clean-up refuse at the curb on your regularly scheduled trash pickup day by 7:00 a.m. for collection during this time.

Hazardous waste, tires, car parts, or large amounts of construction material will not be taken. All other acceptable trash items (furniture, appliances, misc.) will be picked up free of charge. The only yard waste materials that are accepted are leaves, grass clippings, weeds and brush, shrubbery, edgings without dirt, and twigs and small branches that are less than four inches in diameter.
