Mayor Walters Announces Falls Downtown Friday event Stars and Stripes: Honoring our Local Heroes

Mayor Walters is proud to announce Stars and Stripes: Honoring our Local Heroes, the third event of Falls Downtown Fridays, the summer entertainment series in Downtown Cuyahoga Falls. The event is scheduled for Friday, July 5, from 5-10 p.m.

Local country band Buck Naked Band will headline an evening to recognize the efforts of public safety officials who have gone above and beyond the call of duty from 8-10 p.m. This event will feature local music, retail, food, and family-friendly activities. Ed Dennis will open for the Buck Naked Band from 6-7:30 p.m. and 91.3 The Summit will play music from 5-6 p.m. Kids will enjoy a visit from Patriotic Hero, Mobile Rec, and activities provided by the Riverfront YMCA. Falls Downtown Fridays is sponsored by the City of Cuyahoga Falls, Cascade Auto and, Western Reserve Hospital. A&C Welding is the event sponsor.

“We are proud to host and see residents and visitors out and about at our Falls Downtown Fridays events in our revitalized Downtown Cuyahoga Falls,” stated Mayor Don Walters. “We are thrilled to utilize the Stars and Stripes event to honor our military and safety forces and thank them for all they do to keep us safe from harm.”

Beer sales from the Stars and Stripes event will benefit Victim Assistance Program.
