Due to national and international changes in recycling markets, new recycling quality standards have taken effect. City of Cuyahoga Falls Sanitation & Recycling customers are asked to help keep Cuyahoga Falls’ recycling program successful by recycling responsibly.

Acceptable materials for recycling include household plastic bottles and jugs, food & beverage glass bottles and cans, and clean, dry cardboard (broken down), paperboard, and office paper waste.  Please rinse and place loose, acceptable recyclable materials into City of Cuyahoga Falls Recycle Carts. Please do NOT place acceptable recyclables into plastic bags before putting into Recycle Carts.

Materials that are not acceptable for recycling are considered prohibited materials. Prohibited materials placed into Recycle Carts destroy recyclability of community materials, and create additional costs to the community. NO plastic bags, Styrofoam, toys, food, yard waste, medical or other wastes should be placed into City of Cuyahoga Falls Recycle Carts.

By recycling responsibly and placing carts at the curb (3 feet between carts) by 7:00 AM on the appropriate collection day, City of Cuyahoga Falls Sanitation & Recycling customers can help keep Cuyahoga Falls’ recycling program successful.

A detailed City of Cuyahoga Falls Recycle Guide can be picked up at City Hall, or found on the City website, cityofcf.com
