City of Cuyahoga Falls Hosts Public Art Community Workshops
Apr 04, 2019
The City of Cuyahoga Falls will host two interactive community workshops about public art in April as part of the Public Art Master Plan.
The workshops will be held on Tuesday, April 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday, April 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Downtown Pavilion, 2085 Front Street.
Community members are encouraged to attend the events to share their ideas and thoughts about public art in Cuyahoga Falls. Discussion topics will include how public art is transforming communities in the region and brainstorming ways that public art can contribute to the community’s vibrancy and sense of place.
The events are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided, as well as artistic door prizes.
Community members also are encouraged to complete a survey about public art. The survey is available online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CuyahogaFallsPublicArt now through April 26. Hard copies of the survey are available in the Community Development Department from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday at Cuyahoga Falls City Hall, 2310 Second St.
