2018 Holiday Sanitation Delays and Clean-Up Program

Mayor Don Walters announced a delay in sanitation service due to the Christmas and New Year holidays. There will be no sanitation pickup on Tuesday, December 25, 2018, with a one day delay for the remainder of the week. There will also be no sanitation pickup on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, with a one day delay for the remainder of the week. Refuse and recycle crews will work through Saturday. Please note, pickups on Monday, December 24, 2018, and Monday, December 31, 2018, will occur as scheduled.

Additionally, the 2018 Holiday Clean-up Program is scheduled for all sanitation customers from Wednesday, December 26, 2018, through Monday, December 31, 2018. Extra bags of trash and bulk items will be picked up curbside free of charge on your scheduled pick-up day.  Please place all items curbside by 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled collection day.

Live Christmas trees pick-up will begin Wednesday, December 26, 2018. Residents are reminded to place trees at the curbside on their regularly scheduled trash collection day. Please make sure all ornaments, tinsel, lights, tree stands, and plastic tree bags are removed. The City of Cuyahoga Falls Christmas tree pick-up will continue through January 18, 2019.
