The City of Cuyahoga Falls is hiring a Regular Part-Time Laborer for the Building & Grounds Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for performing skilled and unskilled manual work to help with the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of City building and grounds.

Graduation from high school or GED equivalent and some experience in performing manual labor and routine maintenance tasks is required. 

Starting pay is $12.88 per hour. After 3 successful years in the position the pay rate is $15.73 per hour.

Tentative work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM. The flexibility to work full days occasionally is required. Days and hours will fluctuate with the season and may include weekends and holidays. Schedule will be outlined by the Building and Grounds Maintenance Superintendent. This position will not exceed 29 hours per week.

Candidates must possess and maintain a valid Ohio Driver’s License and ability to maintain continuing eligibility under the City’s driver eligibility standards.
