Gather a small group or 250 of your closest friends in your choice of meeting, banquet, or theater setting. We welcome you to visit to this historic building, and to see why Quirk Cultural Center is the perfect venue for your wedding reception, shower, dance, party, or meeting. 

Banquet Room

The large, air-conditioned banquet room is ideal for gatherings of up to 250 guests.

The beautiful accommodations included with your rental are:

  • Kitchen including electric stove with six commercial burners, grill, oven, refrigerator, and ice machine
  • Ten-top 96” x 30" rectangular tables seating up to 250 persons
  • Eight-top 60" round tables seating up to 160 persons
  • Two rooms that can open up to each other
  • Parking for 116 cars including five handicapped spaces

Please note that your party will need to supply table coverings, buffet supplies such as plates, napkins, cups, flatware, dish soap, dish towels, paper towels, cooking, and serving utensils, ice buckets or coolers, containers, plastic wrap, foil, and other entertainment supplies.

Front Room

The dimensions of the front area are 56’ x 34’ and will accommodate 12 round banquet tables, seating eight to a table, or 120 people. You may also use 15 rectangular banquet tables, seating ten to a table, or 150 people.

Back Room

The dimensions of the back area are 42' x 20' and will accommodate eight round tables, or a total of 64 people. Alternately, 12 rectangular tables can seat a total of 120 people.

All event rentals in the banquet hall require a $100.00 security deposit. Times in which your party may use the banquet hall and their rental fees are listed below.

Newell Theatre

The theatre seats up to 160 people and offers full staging and lighting capabilities accommodating anything from presentations to plays.

For-profit Rate: $50.00 per hour
Nonprofit Rate: $35.00 per hour
 

Please note that food and beverages are note permitted in the theatre and that  a tax identification number is required for the nonprofit rate.


Classrooms and Board Room

Quirk has a variety of rooms available for rental that may be arranged to meet your every need.

For-profit Rate: $20.00 per hour
Nonprofit Rate: $15.00 per hour

Quirk Rental Regulations

Payment: Payment is due in full at time of reservation by cash, check, MasterCard, Visa or Discover. Reservation time must include set-up, cooking, decorating and clean up time. Security deposit of $100.00 will be refunded unless needed to pay for damages or extra time used.

Smoking: Quirk Cultural Center is a nonsmoking facility.

Alcoholic Beverages: May be served but not included in price of a ticket or sold unless permit holder secures a liquor license from the State of Ohio and presents same to the Parks and Recreation Office. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted outside the building.

Responsible Person in Charge: The holder of this permit will be financially responsible for the condition of the facility, all equipment therein, and the conduct of the activities of the group.

Refund Policy: Reservations canceled six months prior to reservation date – 90% refund; less than six months notice – 50% refund.

Decorations: Not permitted on walls, ceilings, etc. Table decorations may be used as long as they are of fireproof materials.

Youth Groups: A responsible adult will be required to secure the permit for all children and teenage groups using the facility. This same adult must be in attendance and will be held responsible for the building and the activities of the group. It is required that a minimum of two adults be present and suggest that at least one adult for every ten children or teenagers present be the rule. At the expense of the renter, an off-duty Cuyahoga Falls police officer must be secured one-half hour before guests are expected to arrive until one-half hour after event has ended, for all teenage groups using the facility.

Caterers: Caterers are not permitted to use the building at times other than listed on permit.

Purpose: These facilities may not be used for money-making activities used for personal profit.

Arrangements: Final arrangements must be made no later than two weeks prior to date of reservation by calling the Parks and Recreation Office or Quirk Cultural Center.

Reservation Policy: Reservations may be made one year in advance to the day requested. A total of two reservations may be scheduled at one time.
