October 24

The City of Cuyahoga Falls will hold a drug take-back event in partnership with Sam's Club on Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. near the entrance of Sam's Club, 1189 Bulchholzer Boulevard.

The goal of the event, which will be held on National Drug Take-Back Day, is to collect unused or expired medication to help make the community safer. Needles and liquids will not be accepted.

"The City of Cuyahoga Falls is proud to partner with Sam's Club on Drug Take-Back Day," said Mayor Don Walters. "These events not only help our residents rid their homes of unneeded medications but also provide education on why proper disposal is critical to the health and safety of our community."

The event will also feature materials from community partners Western Reserve Hospital and the Summit County Community Partnership.

In addition to the drug take-back event, residents may drop off unused and expired medication 24/7 at the drug disposal drop box in the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department lobby located at 2310 Second Street.
