The community River Cleanup events serve as opportunities for residents and businesses to come together to pull trash from one of our most valuable resources - the Cuyahoga River.

Volunteers will clean up litter, pull invasive garlic mustard, and plant flowers and trees at designated public grounds locations. Lunch, cleanup, and planting supplies will be provided for project volunteers. Volunteers should dress for the weather and wear protective clothing for the project

2017 project partners and sponsors include the Ohio EPA, Keep America Beautiful, Inc., Keep Ohio Beautiful, Friends of the Crooked River, Cuyahoga River Restoration, State Road Donato’s, and the City of Cuyahoga Falls Service and Parks and Recreation departments.
